Description

John Carpenter’s Halloween is to the slasher genre what Black Sabbath is to heavy metal or Superman is to superheroes. If not definitively the first, at the very least the thing that spawned several imitators.

I was born in 1976 so the original Halloween was a bit before my time. I was more into some of the series which were inspired by it. Still, Michael Myers presented a very recognizable and haunting image.
