Description
A piece created for an unrealized graphic novel. For this I was asked to show the interior of a particular cell, but also indicate that this a large prison devoid of inmates. I felt that the fisheye view would work well as it provided a way to show the interior of one cell with good detail, while also indicating other levels of cells. This was the first time I ever tried a fisheye shot in my art.
This is graphite on bristol board. The full image is 11″ x 21″. Please note: using the standard way of creating double page spreads for comic books, this piece uses to separate sheets of bristol board. During the drawing process the two sheets were taped together on the backside. They will be shipped as two separate pieces.
