Description
A piece from an unrealized graphic novel. The publisher wanted to highlight some of the atrocities against the world prior to, and during, World War 2. It was their suggestion to include the cracked Nazi and samurai statues, the bank logo, as well as the desecrated, looted grave and broken ancient porcelain jars from the Philippines.
This is graphite on bristol board. The full image is 11″ x 21″. Please note: using the standard way of creating double page spreads for comic books, this piece uses to separate sheets of bristol board. During the drawing process the two sheets were taped together on the backside. They will be shipped as two separate pieces.
